Culture and Literature have become part of the Park Hotel Post in Freiburg almost naturally. Authors of all kinds, artists and well-known people have found their way to us over time, at the heart of the cultural landscape of Baden. The renowned children’s book writer Kirsten Boie and Nobel Prize winner Herta Müller, drawer Janosch and successful designer Colani, former German Federal President Joachim Gauck, Mario Adorf and Dieter Hildebrandt, these and many more were guests at the Park Hotel Post. They had pleasant stay, recommended us to others and came back. In the air there is the smell of cultivation which all our hotel guests can discern and appreciate. Today, every room at the Park Hotel Post has its own personal literary patron, dedication and small selection of works. At the reception we have an extensive selection of books written by our illustrious guests.
